Terms
General
Product purchases are made when an order has been registered and confirmed on the online store and payment has been received. When the product is ready for delivery, the buyer is contacted by e-mail if the buyer has registered his e-mail address or contacted by phone. The seller is bound to process the buyer's order as long as it is in accordance with the product selection and pricing.
All products are shipped the next business day after ordering. If a product is not in stock, a customer service representative will contact you and inform you of the estimated delivery time of the product.
All orders are distributed by the Icelandic post service and their terms of delivery, warranty and transport apply to the delivery of the product. If the product is damaged from the time it is sent from OVITA until it reaches the recipient, the damage is the responsibility of the carrier.
OVITA reserves the right to cancel orders due to incorrect price information in the online store and also to change prices or stop offering product types without notice.
Refund policy
A customer can return a product if the product is undamaged and unopened in its original packaging and a receipt is included. The general return period for products is 15 days. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. If a product turns out to be defective, OVITA will pay for the return of the product.
Privacy policy
The seller promises the buyer complete confidentiality regarding the information provided by the buyer in connection with the transaction. Information will not be disclosed to third parties under any circumstances.
Laws and forums
This agreement is in accordance with Icelandic law. If a case arises because of him, it shall be prosecuted before the Reykjavík District Court.
